Got lured in by the free sample sign outside! We were handed the last two pieces in the bowl (raspberry something and the other was milk chocolate) and man, they were so good and fresh! We ended up buying two milk chocolate (mouse and car). We asked about the soft serve and was told it's only available in the summer. Will definitely come back if we're ever in the area again.

Popped in to try a couple chocolates. The chocolate maker was there, very kind and helpful woman! Loved the two pieces I purchased, will definitely consider a larger box as a gift in the near future. Bonus - they also have an ice cream machine! Will definitely stop by with my child sometime for a cone. Highly recommend!

In case you couldn't tell, Craft-Chocolate specializes in craft chocolate! Walked by here plenty of times on Lincoln, but the little puppets drew me in for soft serve. They've got limited hours, but we were able to get a bunch of soft serve with some excellent chocolates and toppings for a song. There was even a table outside for us to eat! Definitely love supporting shops like these; anything to cure a sweet tooth!

I had a wonderful experience with Bente. She helped choose the exact appropriate chocolate for my sons wedding dinner.Each place setting at the wedding table had a dark chocolate rose embossed heart in a little glass bowl. I noticed several people could not wait until the end of the meal to eat their chocolate treat. The chocolates added such a nice touch.

A very sweet tiny artisan chocolate shop - I am so glad Bente is here in Alameda. She makes gorgeous, delicious chocolates, and just the heady aroma when you open the door is intoxicating!

Stopped by today to buy my second box of chocolates from this fantastic shop. Not only are the ingredients, high-quality, the customer service from Bente is outstanding. she obviously loves what she does and her attention to detail makes you feel special. I no longer purchase Godiva chocolates!

So glad to see this new store finally being open where you can buy Craft Chocolate directly from the source, as fresh as they can get and with a sheer endless selection. The owner, Bente, is the sweetest and as helpful as it can get. She's so knowledgeable about the craft of making real, high quality chocolate and offers great advice. Appreciate the transparency about the ingredients and the fact that they have many vegan options, including vegan white chocolate which is impossible to find elsewhere! The interior of the store is really cute, clean and love the large displays showing her craftswomanship. A tru hidden gem in the East Bay that's worth the trip to Alameda. Highly recommended, my new go to store whenever I need a decadent gift that everybody will love.

Had small boxes of 6-8 chocolates made for our wedding a few months ago and we were absolutely blown away by how good they were. We had two or three boxes left after the wedding & we had to hide them from family that was still in town and a few friends who stopped by. (Sorry if that sounded a little selfish but they obviously got first crack at taking a box of their own!!) We asked for a few different flavors based on some things we liked. We had one with an amaretto, bailey's irish cream inspired filling, a port wine one, milk chocolate, and they were all just excellent. The bailey's one was just bursting with flavor and so creamy. The boxes were lovely as well! They fit with my color scheme perfectly and delivered I think the perfect amount of the chocolates. We had some shaped like a paw, in honor of my puppy (it was so sweet). There was also a heart shape that had 'love' written in cursive, and one that was printed with tiny flowers. They were all so detailed and really beautiful. We heard from so many about how delicious they all were!! I still think about them and I'm sad they're all gone :(
